You may wish to mark the resting place of a loved one; this can be in the form of a simple wooden plaque or an engraved tree stake, both of which can be supplied/purchased by Olney Green Burial.
The wooden plaques are natural oiled oak and are placed centrally on the grave at ground level.
The tree stakes are an alternative tree support supplied in natural green oak and the engraving can be on up to three sides leaving one side clear to attach to the tree.
Engraved tree stakes are supplied in green oak and can be left natural or stained as prefered, and the engraving can be on up to three sides leaving one side clear to attach to the tree.
If a member of the family would like to provide or make a personal plaque or tree stake we would ask you to contact the office to talk through the style and specification being considered so that we can maintain the natural feel of the burial ground.
It should be noted that these items are made from entirely natural materials and any knots, fissures, markings and variations are not detrimental to their purpose.
